- 6 small flour tortillas cut into triangles
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar for cinnamon sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon for cinnamon sugar
- 4 cups apples peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon for apple filling
- 1 tbsp lemon juice for freshness
- 1 tbsp cornstarch for thickening
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
- 1 cup whipped cream for topping
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush tortilla triangles with melted butter and toss in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Cook until apples are tender and sauce is thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
Arrange cinnamon sugar chips on a serving platter. Spoon warm apple filling over the chips.
Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with dollops of whipped cream. Serve immediately and enjoy!
