Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger sliced
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric or 1 tbsp fresh turmeric, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp honey or to taste
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper enhances turmeric absorption
  • 1 stick cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

  • Add water, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and cinnamon stick (if using) to a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and strain into mugs.
  • Stir in lemon juice and honey to each cup. Mix well and serve warm.

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftover brew in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat as needed.
  • Tip: Add a pinch of cayenne for an extra kick and further immune support.
