Jackfruit Chips
These crispy and lightly sweet jackfruit chips are a delicious and healthy snack. Made by frying or baking ripe jackfruit slices, they offer a naturally sweet, crunchy texture perfect for snacking.

2 cups ripe jackfruit seeds removed, sliced thinly 1 tbsp coconut oil if baking 1 cup vegetable oil for frying, if using the frying method 0.5 tsp salt optional
Peel and remove the seeds from the jackfruit. Slice each piece into thin strips.
Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C). Toss the jackfruit slices with coconut oil and spread them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crisp and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the jackfruit slices in small batches.
Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with salt (if using) and allow to cool completely before serving.
Customization: Sprinkle with cinnamon or chili powder for added flavor.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
