Vegan Frosting Without Dairy

- 1 cup vegan butter softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar sifted
- 2 tbsp non-dairy milk such as almond, oat, or soy
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt optional, enhances flavor
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened vegan butter with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, beating after each addition until incorporated.
Add non-dairy milk, vanilla extract, and salt (if using). Continue beating until the frosting is light and fluffy.
If the frosting is too thick, add more non-dairy milk, one teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
Use immediately to frost cakes, cupcakes, or cookies. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
