1 cup unsalted butter softened 3/4 cup brown sugar packed 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup sunflower seeds toasted, unsalted 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional
