  2. Knead the Dough: Turn the mixture onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  3. Add the Fillings: Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down and incorporate the chopped walnuts and raisins. Divide the dough into small balls and flatten each slightly.
  4. Shape and Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the flattened dough on a lined baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature, paired with tea or as a festive snack during Naw-Ruz.
